Community Therapist

Location: Lynwood, CA; Gardena, CA

Description: A Community Therapist is responsible for specific clinical services to assigned youth and families so that they may become healthy, independent and productive members of their communities. A Community Therapist is expected to exercise professional judgment and discretion as a significant practitioner in the successful integration of treatment for clients.
A Community Therapist works designated shifts under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor.

Requirements:
1. Valid California license as a LCSW, MFT, PhD or PsyD; or a Masters degree and current registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate MSW or MFT Intern.
2. Work experience in a comparable mental health setting.
3. Bilingual Spanish required.

Description: The Wraparound Therapist provides individual and family therapy as therapeutically necessary and as indicated in the youth’s service plan. The Wraparound Therapist coordinates with the Child and Family team to help encourage the involvement of the youths family and significant others in the treatment planning process and participation in therapy. This position requires good assessment skills, treatment planning and basic understanding of CBT/Family Systems and intervention techniques required. The therapist submits timely all required documentation and reports. Individual and group supervision provided.

Description: The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assuring the overall provisions of comprehensive clinical services and case management of all Intensive Services program youth and adults. Clinical Supervisors are expected to exercise independent professional judgement and discretion in the leadership of the Intensive Services Department. The Clinical Supervisor reports directly to the Program Manger. 

Requirements:

1. LCSW, LMFT or PsyD State of California license.
2. Four years full-time clinical experience in comparable mental health setting and two years supervisory experience.
3. Valid California Driver’s license and a good driving record.

Clinical Supervisor

2. Four years full-time clinical experience in comparable mental health setting and two years supervisory experience.

3. Three years administrative experience required.

4. Bilingual Spanish (preferred).

5. Valid California Drivers license, good driving record and must be able to drive to fulfill the duties of the position.

Quality Improvement Specialist

Description: The Quality Improvement Specialist ensures the quality of services within the County’s Short-Doyle mental health system and compliance with various mandates and State laws, rules and regulations. The Quality Improvement Specialist supports staff and supervisors with technical and procedural training as needed. The Quality Improvement Specialist collaborates with supervisors and coordinators in updating new procedures and protocols as needed.

Requirements:

1. Working competency in both typing and computer programs including but not limited to Word and Excel.

2. Bachelors Degree (preferred).

Description: The Quality Improvement Clinician assists the Director in ensuring the quality of services within the County’s Short-Doyle mental health system and compliance with various legislative mandates and State laws, rules and regulations. They also attend DMH/other Medi-Cal Quality Improvement Committee meetings and other related conferences that benefit contract compliance and quality of services delivered.

The Quality Improvement Clinician reports to the Quality Improvement Director.

Requirements:

1. LCSW, MFT, or PhD preferred with a valid California license.

2. BBS registration required.

3. Four years full-time clinical experience in a comparable mental health setting and two years supervisory experience preferred.

4. Experience with DMH program services and documentation preferred.

Full Service Partnership Counselor – Tay & Adult

Location: Norwalk, CA

Description: The FSP Counselor monitors and builds relationships with TAY and adult clients at the Masada site. The Counselor is also responsible for safely transporting clients via Masada Homes’ transport vehicle to and from appointments as necessary. The Counselor is expected to provide a positive role model for clients and encourage their participation in then activities of the program. The position involves working designated shifts under the direct supervision of the FSP Clinical Supervisor or FSP Program Manager.

Requirements:

1. High School degree plus minimum 2 year experience working in a TAY/Adult treatment center.

2. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

3. Able to work flexible hours if required.

4.  Valid CA driver’s license and a good driving record.

Location: Lynwood, Norwalk, Hawaiian Gardens & Gardena

Description: The Regional Director – Community Programs is responsible for the oversight and monitoring of the day-to-day operations of the office sites. He/She is expected to show leadership and management support to all levels of staff at the sites and to ensure quality of service delivery. The Regional Director – Community Programs supports the successful integration of treatment services for all clients and all issues related to contract compliance. The Regional Director – Community Programs reports to the Chief Operations Officer.

Requirements:

  1.  LCSW, MFT, PhD or other appropriate service provider certification and related Masters degree.
  2. Five years experience of demonstrated supervisory, administrative, and organizational abilities as well as five years experience in a mental health setting.
  3. Valid California Drivers license, good driving record, and must be able to drive to fulfill the duties of the position.

Administrative Specialist

Location: Gardena

Description: The Administrative Specialist supports and assists the Chief Operations Officer in the administrative activities of Masada Homes. The Administrative Specialist is expected to have a thorough knowledge of the programs and functions of the agency. The position involves working designated shifts under the direct supervision of the Chief Operations Officer.

Requirements:

1. Two (2) years of experience in a mental health setting or related setting providing information systems and clerical support.
2. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 
3. Excellent computer abilities. Proficient in Word, Excel and other web based programs.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
5. Valid California Driver’s license, good driving record and must be able to drive to fulfill the duties of the position.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to sit for most of the working day.
  2. Ability to bend, twist, turn and reach.
  3. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  4. Ability to work comfortably with paper products.
  5. Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time.
