Program Manager – Community Sites

Location: Lynwood, CA

Description: The Program Manager is responsible for assuring the overall provision of comprehensive services to clients in the agency’s Community Site. The Program Manager supports the successful integration of treatment services for all clients and all issues related to contract compliance. The Program Manager is expected to exercise independent professional judgement and discretion in the leadership of the Community Outpatient Program. The Program Manager reports directly to the Regional Director.

Requirements: 

  1.  L.C.SW., M.F.T. OR Ph.D.
  2. Four years full-time clinical experience in a comparable mental health setting.
  3.  Two years full-time supervisory experience.
  4.  Valid California Drivers License, good driving record and must be able to drive to fulfill the duties of the position.

A Community Therapist works designated shifts under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor.

Requirements:
1. Valid California license as a LCSW, MFT, PhD or PsyD; or a Masters degree and current registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate MSW or MFT Intern.
2. Work experience in a comparable mental health setting.
3. Bilingual Spanish required.
4. Valid California drivers license, current vehicle insurance and a good driving record.

Wraparound Therapist

Location: Lancaster, CA

Description: The Wraparound Therapist provides individual and family therapy as therapeutically necessary and as indicated in the youth’s service plan. The Wraparound Therapist coordinates with the Child and Family team to help encourage the involvement of the youths family and significant others in the treatment planning process and participation in therapy. This position requires good assessment skills, treatment planning and basic understanding of CBT/Family Systems and intervention techniques required. The therapist submits timely all required documentation and reports. Individual and group supervision provided.

Requirements:

1. Valid California license as a LCSW, MFT, PhD or PsyD; or a Masters degree and current registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate MSW or MFT Intern.

1. LCSW, LMFT or PsyD State of California license.
2. Four years full-time clinical experience in comparable mental health setting and two years supervisory experience.

1. LCSW, MFT or PhD with a valid California license, or LPCC with 6 semester units or 9 quarter units focused specifically on the theory and application of marriage and family therapy in each license renewal cycle.

2. Four years full-time clinical experience in comparable mental health setting and two years supervisory experience.

3. Three years administrative experience required.

4. Valid California Drivers license, good driving record and must be able to drive to fulfill the duties of the position.

Quality Improvement Specialist

Description: The Quality Improvement Specialist ensures the quality of services within the County’s Short-Doyle mental health system and compliance with various mandates and State laws, rules and regulations. The Quality Improvement Specialist supports staff and supervisors with technical and procedural training as needed. The Quality Improvement Specialist collaborates with supervisors and coordinators in updating new procedures and protocols as needed.

Requirements:

1. Working competency in both typing and computer programs including but not limited to Word and Excel.

2. Bachelors Degree (preferred).

Description: The Quality Improvement Clinician assists the Director in ensuring the quality of services within the County’s Short-Doyle mental health system and compliance with various legislative mandates and State laws, rules and regulations. They also attend DMH/other Medi-Cal Quality Improvement Committee meetings and other related conferences that benefit contract compliance and quality of services delivered.

The Quality Improvement Clinician reports to the Quality Improvement Director.

Requirements:

1. LCSW, MFT, or PhD preferred with a valid California license.

2. BBS registration required.

3. Four years full-time clinical experience in a comparable mental health setting and two years supervisory experience preferred.

4. Experience with DMH program services and documentation preferred.

Wraparound Facilitator

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Description: The Facilitator/Care Coordinator is responsible for leading, guiding, and collaborating with the client, family, and team members. A Facilitator/Care Coordinator is expected to exercise professional judgment and discretion as a significant provider in the successful integration of services to provide for the safety, permanency, and well-being of the Wraparound and IFCCS clients. The Facilitator reports directly to the Team Supervisor. 

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work or Psychology.
  2. Two years of experience working with high risk children/youth in child welfare, probation or mental health systems
  3. Valid California Drivers License, good driving record, and must be able to drive to fulfill the duties of the position.
  4. Bilingual Spanish required.

Case Manager

Location: Lynwood, CA; Lancaster, CA

Description: A Case Manager provides case management and behavioral guidance for program youth. Persons employed as case managers are responsible for behavioral case management and linkage services for the youth and families being served as well as skill building for individual rehab services. The position involves working designated shifts under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director or Program Coordinator.

Requirements: 

  1. Bachelor’s Degree related to the fields of psychology, social work or other majors defined by the Department of Mental Health as a related degree.
  2. Bilingual Spanish required.
  3. Valid California Drivers License, good driving record, and must be able to drive to fulfill the duties of the position.
