Full-Time Occupational Therapist

Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Job Description: Masada’s OT department is expanding! Be a part of our future growth as we find new and novel ways of addressing community mental health challenges. Come join our team of 7 Occupational Therapists and be part of the growth of OT at Masada. We project to grow to be 40-50 OTs strong. New graduates are welcome to apply. Occupational therapists at Masada get ample mentorship through group and individual supervision in a supportive and collaborative environment. Occupational therapists provide outpatient community mental health services to pediatric clients ages 0-25 experiencing a variety of behavioral health challenges. Job Description: Parent Partners are parents/caregivers who have first-hand experience with the various state systems, and who exhibited exceptional qualities in their own efforts to understand how systems work and an appreciation of what it takes to be successful, and the personal qualities that lend themselves to collaboration on various levels. Full-Time Occupational Therapist

Most commonly clients experience symptoms related to diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, schizophrenia, substance abuse, or ADHD. Services are provided virtually, at home, in schools, and in the community as needed by the clients. OTs are expected to drive between clients and be autonomous in scheduling their assigned caseload weekly.

Strong organization and communication skills are a must. OTs work on an interdisciplinary team of providers within the Full Service Partnership (FSP), OCS, and other intensive service programs (AOT) through funding from the Department of Mental Health. An Occupational Therapist is responsible for the provision of comprehensive occupational therapy services to assigned clients and families referred from therapy staff. Occupational therapists are expected to exercise professional judgment and discretion as practitioners and collaborators in the treatment of clients. Full-Time FCT Clinical Supervisor

Job Description:
The FCT Clinical Supervisor is required to be certified as a Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Supervisor and supervises both clinicians and adjunctive staff. Clinical Supervisors are expected to exercise independent professional judgement and discretion in the leadership of the Intensive Services Department and demonstrates a commitment to services and values of the agency. Full-Time Quality Improvement Specialist

Job Description: The Quality Improvement Specialist provides support within the County’s mental health system by ensuring quality services and compliance with state laws and regulations. Reporting to the Manager of Program Support Services, the QI Specialist collaborates with staff and supervisors to update procedures. The position requires relevant experience in a mental health setting and strong communication skills. Other duties as assigned by the Manager may also be required.

Full-Time Multidisciplinary Assessment Team (MAT) Assessor
Location: Carson, CA

Job Description: A MAT Assessor is responsible for timely, comprehensive and strength-based clinical assessments of children and youth. A MAT Assessor works collaboratively with the MAT Team or referring program to determine what services are most needed by the child(ren), youth, and family. The MAT Assessor will carry a small caseload of outpatient clients, and works designated shifts under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor.

Full-Time Chief Development Officer

Our story began in 1989 when, under the name Masada Homes, we opened an innovative group home program for at-risk youth and began an enduring partnership with Los Angeles County. Position Summary

Masada has long been recognized as a leader in delivering culturally-affirming, evidence-based services in the county’s highest-need communities. With an annual budget of $25+ million, a diverse and highly respected leadership team, and a skilled workforce of 200+ dedicated individuals, we serve more than 1,600 children and families annually. Our seven offices serve as community hubs for delivering onsite, in-home, school-based, and telehealth services.

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Development Officer (CDO) serves as a key member of Masada’s Senior Executive team and is responsible for all fundraising activities. In partnership with the CEO, the Senior Executive Team, and the Board of Directors, the CDO will help define the organization’s vision and direction, support and foster current and future relationships to help build a more diversified funding base and will develop and implement strategies to meet the organization’s goals.

The CDO will be responsible for developing an annual strategic fundraising plan that includes major gifts, institutional giving, corporate partnerships, fundraising events, comprehensive volunteer programs and the annual campaign.

This position will have the primary responsibility of implementing the infrastructure needed to grow private funding and will work closely with team members and other departments to secure funding for current and new initiatives.

It is expected that Masada’s fundraising revenue will increase in future years as the CDO systematically and effectively strengthens the organization’s overall fundraising capacity.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

  • In conjunction with the CEO and senior executive team, develop annual fundraising goals.
  • Plan, lead, and direct the agency’s overall philanthropic efforts to achieve annual fundraising goals.
  • Develop and manage the implementation of Masada’s annual strategic fundraising plan, in conjunction with the CEO and the board of directors.
  • In partnership with the grant writer, develop and oversee the agency’s institutional giving strategy and portfolio.
  • Design a robust strategy to attract and secure corporate partners.

 

Donor Identification, Cultivation, and Stewardship:

  • Oversee individual donor initiatives including the identification, cultivation and solicitation of current and prospective donors.
  • Develop, manage and grow a portfolio of top annual fund donors; customize strategies; coordinate implementation efforts, maintain donor profiles and monitor results.
  • Create a Major Gifts program, manage a portfolio of major gift prospects, utilize moves management to track progress, and create individualized communication and engagement plans.
  • Support the portfolios of top prospects for the CEO and assist with the development of cultivation and solicitation strategies.
  • Develop innovative ways to enhance donor engagement through volunteerism.
  • Plan and execute special events including donor appreciation events, large-scale fundraisers, and boutique events for major donors.
  • Develop a Planned Giving program and oversee its execution.
  • Identify and report on key performance indicators for fundraising activities and donor engagement.

 

Communications:

  • Include fundraising messaging in communications materials, when appropriate, and align fundraising activities with events where Masada has a presence.
  • Partner with the marketing department to develop materials that effectively communicate Masada’s mission and impact to donors.
  • Prepare development reports including plans, accomplishments, and challenges for board meetings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department on a donor-centric social media strategy.
  • Participate in the development of annual/impact reports.

 

Board of Directors:

  • Partner with the Board of Directors on fundraising activities and events, such as prospect outreach and cultivation, large-scale fundraisers and board-hosted cultivation events.
  • Engage the board’s support with individual, corporate, and institutional donors and prospects.
  • Present fundraising updates at Board meetings, including financial progress, donor engagement metrics, and strategic initiatives, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.

 

Department Management:

  • Manage and lead the Development Department, cultivating a supportive atmosphere.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the donor database.
  • Manage the financial operations of the department, including tracking revenue and expenditures, and managing budgets.

 

Requirements:

  1. Genuine passion for Masada’s mission.
  2. 7 to 10 years of leadership experience in fundraising, ideally within a community-based nonprofit setting.
  3. Proven success in securing major gifts and consistently meeting or exceeding fundraising goals.
  4. Comprehensive understanding of key fundraising areas, including major gifts, board relations, grants, individual giving, corporate partnerships, planned gifts and department management.
  5. Strong desire and aptitude for department building.
  6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a collaborative team player who engages effectively with colleagues both within and outside of Masada.
  7. CFRE preferred, but not required.
  8. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  10. Proficiency in donor database software/CRMs and Microsoft Office Suite.
  11. Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  12. Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Full-Time Wraparound Therapist

Location: Lynwood, CA

Job Description: The Wraparound Therapist provides individual and family therapy as therapeutically necessary and as indicated in the youth’s service plan. The Wraparound Therapist coordinates with the Child and Family Team to help encourage the involvement of the youths family and significant others in the treatment planning process and participation in therapy. This position requires good assessment skills, treatment planning, and basic understanding of CBT/Family Systems and intervention techniques required. Requirements:

  1. Valid California license as a LCSW, MFT, PhD or PsyD; or a Master’s degree and current registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate MSW or MFT Intern.
  2. Work experience in a comparable mental health setting.
  3. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  4. Valid California Driver’s License, current vehicle insurance and a good driving record.

Competitive Rate

BBS Registered:

  • Tier 1: $66,650-$75,000 per year.
  • Tier 2: $75,001-$80,000 per year.

Licensed:

  • Tier 1: $70,000-$81,000 per year.
  • Tier 2: $81,001-$90,000 per year.

 

Signing Bonus: Receive the first half of $3,000 on the first paycheck and the second half after completion of 6 months of employment.

Full-Time Wraparound Team Supervisor

Location: Lancaster, CA

Job Description: The Wraparound Team Supervisor is responsible for assuring the overall provision of intensive home based services and intensive care coordination to all Wraparound program youth. The Wraparound Team Supervisor is expected to exercise independent professional judgment and discretion in the leadership of the Facilitators and Child and Family Specialists and demonstrate a commitment to the services and values of the agency. Wraparound staff must complete all training requirements per DMH contract within the first year of employment. The Wraparound Team Supervisor reports directly to the Wraparound Program Manager.

Requirements:
1. Master’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work or Psychology.
2. Four (4) years mental health services experience, intensive program experience preferred.
3. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Full-Time Occupational Therapist

Job Description: Masada’s OT department is expanding! Be a part of our future growth as we find new and novel ways of addressing community mental health challenges. Come join our team of 7 Occupational Therapists and be part of the growth of OT at Masada. We project to grow to be 40-50 OTs strong. New graduates are welcome to apply. Occupational therapists at Masada get ample mentorship through group and individual supervision in a supportive and collaborative environment. Occupational therapists provide outpatient community mental health services to pediatric clients ages 0-25 experiencing a variety of behavioral health challenges. Most commonly clients experience symptoms related to diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, or ADHD. Services are provided virtually, at home, in schools, and in the community as needed by the clients and families. An Occupational Therapist is responsible for the provision of comprehensive occupational therapy services to assigned clients and families referred from therapy staff. Occupational therapists are expected to exercise professional judgment and discretion as practitioners and collaborators in the treatment of clients. The position involves working designated shifts under the direct supervision of the Director of Occupational Therapy. Bilingual Spanish speaking is preferred.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree (graduates of a qualified Occupational Therapy program prior to 2004), Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy.
2. Successfully graduated from an accredited entry-level occupational therapy program recognized by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education.
3. Certified by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy.
4. Currently licensed by the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
5. Valid California Driver’s License, good driving record, and must be able to drive to fulfill the duties of the position.
