The focus of Masada’s Community Mental Health Programs is to help clients overcome symptoms and behaviors which cause functional impairment in their daily lives.
To achieve this goal, our compassionate clinicians use the most current, evidence-based practices to deliver effective treatment in the most convenient setting for the family, including clinic-based, in-home and school-based services.
Masada’s Community Mental Health Programs use a multi-disciplinary team approach to deliver a full array of services, including comprehensive assessment and treatment planning, individual and family therapy, medication support, caregiver support, case management and referral and linkage to additional programs and services as indicated by the assessment. Parent Partners provide additional support to caregivers, and host monthly Caregiver Support Groups.
In order to make its services more available to youth in the community, Masada Homes provides programs in several school-based settings including: LAUSD, Lynwood, Lawndale, Lennox and ABC School Districts as well as Fedde Integrated Health School Clinic. Through these partnerships Masada is able to provide its full range of services, integrated with the client’s educational program, at locations central to the community. Services include: individual and group therapy, case management, social skill development, recreational therapy, occupational therapy and substance abuse counseling and education.
