The Children’s IFCCS Program assists children with serious emotional disturbances and their families throughout LA county who are DCFS involved by utilizing a strength-based, needs-based, team-based, family centered approach. In addition to individual mental health interventions for the child, support services are also provided to meet the needs of parents/caregivers regarding their own trauma which impacts the family’s/child’s stabilization. Most services are provided in the field and services are intensive. Program staff responds to crises 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Children’s IFCCS also provides case management and linkage to community resources regarding housing, financial and health services. The program also offers psychiatry services. Masada IFCCS staff will follow this child throughout Los Angeles County if their home placement changes. This provides some consistency and stability in the child’s life if their placement is disrupted.
The mission of Masada Homes is to provide quality mental health and social services to individuals and families so that they may achieve their goals and enhance the quality of their lives.
