Job Description:

The FSP Therapist provides field-based clinical services to clients and families and functions as a member of an assigned FSP team. FSP Therapists are expected to exercise professional judgment and discretion as a significant practitioner in the successful integration of treatment for clients. This is a full-time position, on call 24/7. This position involves working designated shifts under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor.

Position: Full-Time Case Manager

Location: Gardena, CA; Lynwood, CA

Description:

A Case Manager provides case management and behavioral guidance for program youth. Persons employed as case managers are responsible for the primary behavioral case management of the youth and families being served with secondary responsibility for providing specific linkage services.

The position involves working designated shifts under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director or Program Coordinator.

Position: Parent Partner

Location: Lynwood, CA

Job Description:

Parent Partners are parents/caregivers who have first-hand experience with the various state systems, and who exhibited exceptional qualities in their own efforts to understand how systems work and an appreciation of what it takes to be successful and the personal qualities that lend themselves to collaboration on various levels. The Parent Partner serves as an advocate to mentor parents of our active clients. In order to be considered, the Parent Partners cases must be closed, and he/she is maintaining family stability.

Qualifications:

  1. Parent of, or experience as primary caregiver (excludes foster parent) for a child with serious emotional or behavioral problems who has been involved with DCFS, DMH, Regional Center or Probation.
  2. High School graduate or equivalent.
  3. No current open DCFS or Probation case.
  4. Valid California Drivers License and a good driving record.
  5. Spanish bilingual required.

Position: COD Counselor

Location: Lynwood, CA

Job Description:

A COD Counselor is responsible for implementation of the agency’s COD plan, procedures and programs. This includes serving as primary counselor and role model to the assigned minors and supporting the successful integration of COD treatment and educational services as well as providing care, guidance and close supervision of youth placed in facility.

The position involves working designated shifts under the direct supervision of the Program Director.

Qualifications:

  1. Must have a certificate in drug and alcohol counseling.
  2. Valid California Driver’s License, good driving record and Child Abuse Index/DOJ fingerprint clearance.
  3. Available to work varying hours: split shifts, weekends, and evenings as indicated by client needs.

The Quality Improvement Clinician assists the Coordinator in ensuring the quality of services within the County’s Short-Doyle mental health system and compliance with various legislative mandates and State laws, rules and regulations.

Position: Wraparound Clinical Supervisor

Location: Lancaster, CA

Job Description:
The Wraparound Clinical Supervisor is responsible for clinically and administratively supervising
Wraparound Therapists and Child & Family Specialists (CFS). Reviews and ensures timely,
comprehensive and strength-based clinical assessments, treatment plans and progress notes. The
Wraparound Clinical Supervisor works collaboratively with the Wraparound Teams and ensures LA
County Department of Children & Family Services and Department of Mental Health contract
compliance and integrates the Wraparound program philosophy and Core Practice Model. The
Wraparound Supervisor reports to directly to the Wraparound Manager.

Qualifications:

  1.  Current California license (minimum 2 years) as a LCSW, MFT or Clinical Psychologist.
  2. Four years clinical experience in a comparable mental health setting with 2 years supervision
    experience.
  3. Knowledge of DMH paperwork preferred.
  4. Valid California driver’s license, good driving record and current vehicle insurance.
  5. Commensurate with experience, excellent benefits.

The Full-Time Community Therapist is responsible for specific clinical services to assigned youth and families so that they become healthy, independent and productive members of their communities. A therapist is expected to exercise professional judgment and discretion as a significant practitioner in the integration of treatment for clients. The Community Therapist provides community-based mental health services to children/adolescents throughout the Los Angeles area.

Qualifications:

  1. Valid California License as a LCSW, MFT, PhD or PsyD or a Masters degree and current registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate MSW or MFT Intern.
  2. Valid California Drivers License, good driving record and current vehicle insurance.
  3. Work experience in a comparable mental health setting.
  4. DMH experience a plus.
  5. Bilingual (Spanish) required.
