WRAPAROUND AND FULL-SERVICE PARTNERSHIP(FSP)- BILINGUAL(SPANISH) PARENT PARTNER
 
We are one of South Bay's leading providers of Mental Health services for children and adolescents. Currently, our agency has two family based service programs consisting of Wraparound and Full Service Partnership (FSP). Each program is a family centered, strength based, team approach to working with families that focuses on the strengths of the family members and develops strategies that encourage and support these strengths.

 
DESCRIPTION
 
Full-time or part-time position responsible for providing guidance and support to families or caregivers in a variety of environments. This position works independently in the family's home and in a variety of community and/or treatment settings. Serve as a liaison for parent involvement. Co-facilitate parent support group. 
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills required.
  • Parent of, or experience as a primary caregiver for child with serious emotional or behavioral problems who has been involved with the Child Welfare Services, Probation Department, or Mental Health  System.
  • Valid CA Driver's License, reliable vehicle, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • An ability to work as a treatment team, be flexible, dependable and have good communication skills, both verbal and written.


WRAPAROUND BILINGUAL CHILD AND FAMILY SPECIALIST: FULL-TIME

Our Wraparound program is a family centered, strength based, team approach to working with families that focuses on the strengths of the family members and develops strategies that encourage and support these strengths.The team consists of a Facilitator, Child and Family Specialist, and Parent Partner.
 
DESCRIPTION
 
The Child & Family Specialist provides direct services to youths and families as identified in a individualized Wraparound Plan of Care. The Child and Family Specialist will help with behavior modification and to promote youth and family/professional partnerships and family decision-making.
This position works independently in the family's home and in a variety of community and/or treatment settings. The Child and Family Specialist submit timely all required documentation and reports related to the Wraparound process.
 
REQUIREMENTS
 
A Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services or related field plus at least one year experience working with SED youth and families;OR Associates Degree in a Human Services or related field plus at least two years experience working with SED youth and families. Wraparound experience a plus. Travel required and must have a valid CA Driver's License. Able to work evening and/or weekend hours as needed. Bilingual (Spanish) skills required.
 
 

 

PART-TIME OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

DESCRIPTION

An Occupational Therapist is responsible for the provisions of occupational therapy services to assigned youth. They are expected to exercise professional judgment and discretion as practitioners and collaborators in the succcessful integration of treatment for clients. Part of a milieu team providing Mental Health Services.

REQUIREMENTS

  • B.A. OR M.A. Degree in Occupational Therapy with valid OTR certification (NBCOT).
  • Licensure with the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid California Driver's License and proof of personal liability insurance and an agency approved DMV record.
  • Work experience in a comparable mental health setting preferred.
  • Minimum caseload of 15 hours per week, up to 30 hours per week.
